Tom Allan Director
Tom was the original ‘educating Rita’ and went into further and higher education after leaving school without educational qualifications.
He has an honours degree in Social Studies from the University of Liverpool and qualified as a further education Lecturer at the University of Huddersfield.
He is a qualified NVQ Assessor and Internal Verifier and holds an advanced certificate in Health and Safety.
Tom is also a qualified ‘Master Coach’ and Accelerated Learning Trainer and studied at the International Coaching Academy.
He has experience of working as a tutor with the OU and has lectured at further education colleges.
He has assisted companies to start NVQ Centres and has acted as a consultant for government-funded training organisations.
His background has mostly been within the care field and he has over twenty-five years experience of working both as a practitioner and training manager for Learning Disability and mental health organisations.
Tom’s business experience has ranged from working in a child guidance clinic, Funeral Director, retail and motor industry.
